domo arigato gozaimashita  – thank you so much, for something past

ukemi        – breakfall
taisabaki   – displacement
kamae       – stance
mae           – front
ushiro        – back
migi           – right
hidari         – left
omote        – inside, in front, positive
ura              – outside, in the back, negative

uke – the one who takes ukemi, the breakfall
tori – the ones who defends

Displacements/steps
ushiro tenkan  – pivot backward
irimi                 – entering
tenkan              – pivot
irimi-tenkan     – entering and pivoting
kaiten               – rotation

Attacks
ai hamni katate dori          – grip of the wrist in the same stance
gyakyu hamni katate dori  – grip of the wrist in the reverse stance
kata dori                             – grip of the shoulder
